Humans at the heart of EIA
Mariana Trindade, biologist at Groupe Hémisphères, will participate at the 26th convention of the AQEI on May 3rd and 4th in Québec. The theme for the convention is: humans at the heart of environmental impact assessments.
« Humans, the subject of Impact Assessments, is also a citizen and as such, is also the owner of any state process. The update to Québec’s assessment procedure seeks to return humans to the centre of the process through its spirit of transparency and opportunities for public participation. »
